Currently Texas State Senator for District 11 and Chairman of the Senate Education Committee.  Served 5 terms in the Texas House of Representatives, where he represented District 24 and was the Republican Caucus Chairman and a member of the Texas Sunset Commission. Former Board Member of FC Holdings, Inc., Family Bancorp, Inc. and the bank now known as Vantage Bank Texas. Graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Business.

Bobby J. Goldsmith



Founded Beta International in 1976, a global supplier of valves and piping equipment to the oil and gas industry. He sold controlling interest in 2009 and remains a shareholder and director of Beta. He also owns Haygood Scientific Tool, a precision Machine Shop, a company founded in 1953, which he purchased in 1986, and is involved in commercial real estate in Houston.  Bobby attended the University of Houston where he majored in economics. He and his wife Jeri’ have lived in Friendswood for over 30 years.

Arden "Trey" Hill, III



President of Hill Sand Company, Inc., a land fill/sand sales company based in Pearland, Texas. President of Dixie Farm Road Landfill, Hill Waste Services, Pearland Industrial Park, Inc., Hill Terra Development Corp. No. 1 & No. 2, and Dark Horse Investments, LLC. Trey serves as a board member and coach of the Friendswood Youth Football Association and a coach in Friendswood Little League Baseball. Trey is a Board Member of The Doiron Legends of Friendswood Golf Tournament.

Kenny koncaba

Kenny Koncaba 


CEO of Texan Bank, and Co-Founder, Director, and CEO of Friendswood Capital Corporation, Kenny’s previous experience includes being the Co-Founder, Chairman, CEO, and President of Family Bancorp, Inc., and its subsidiary bank, now known as Vantage Bank Texas. In addition, he served as a Director, President and Chief Operating Officer at First Community Bank, Houston, a National Bank which was sold to Wells Fargo Bank in 2005. Prior to his banking career, Kenny was employed for more than twenty years with the Texas-New Mexico Power Company, where he served in numerous management roles. Other business positions include being the Founder/CEO of Friendswood Energy Generation Company in 2011, a company which was sold to Quantum Energy in 2015. In addition, he served in the recent past as a Director for the Icon Wellness Clinic and a Partner for HC Industrial Partners, a firm he co-founded in 2015 and sold to Proenergy in 2019.

Kenny was previously elected by the public to the Friendswood ISD Board of Trustees (School Board) for three terms and to two terms on the Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District Board. He also served after being appointed by Commissioners Court to the Galveston County Beach and Parks Board. As an appointee of Texas Governor, Rick Perry, Kenny served on the Texas Housing and Health Services Coordinating Council.  In 2015, Governor Greg Abbott appointed him to the Board of Commissioners of Pilots, Galveston County Ports, where he served as Commission Chairman. In 2018, Kenny was appointed by Governor Abbott to the Texas Southern University Board of Regents. He currently serves on the Texas State Securities Board, is the Vice Chairman of the Board for Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP), Primary member of HGAC Regional Flood Council, as well as the Friendswood Education Foundation Board. Kenny earned his BA at the University of Houston/Clear Lake, where he delivered the commencement speech to the December, 2016, graduates of the College of Business and College of Human Sciences and Humanities, and was honored as Distinguished Alumnus in 2018.

Co-Founder, President, Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of Texan Bank. Co-Founder and Member of the Board of Directors, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of Friendswood Capital Corporation, the bank holding company for Texan Bank. Kristi has co-founded two bank holding companies in Texas, Friendswood Capital Corporation and Family Bancorp, Inc., both of which received regulatory approval.

Kristi is a Governor Abbott appointee to the Austin-based Texas Mutual Insurance Company’s Board of Directors where she serves as the Vice Chairman. Other board service includes Chairman of the Austin-based Texas Bankers Association Foundation Board, Member of the Texas Bankers Association Board of Directors, Treasurer of the National Charity League Board of Directors, Member of the Executive Committee and Chair Elect of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the South Belt–Ellington Chamber of Commerce Board. She serves as an Advisory Director for Stewart Security Capital and The Johnson’s Family Mission 31 Foundation. She is the former Chairman of the Bay Area YMCA Advisory Board.

Kristi currently maintains the following professional certifications: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is a member of the National Charity League (NCL), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), HR Houston, Texas Bay Area SHRM and Financial Women in Texas (FWIT). She earned a Bachelor of Science in American Jurisprudence and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.

Kenny and Kristi Koncaba were honored by the University of Houston’s “Cougar 100” fastest growing companies 2018, 2019 and 2020. Under their leadership, Texan Bank has been awarded by the Houston Business Journal as a “Best Place to Work in Houston” in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and Texas Monthly Magazine as a “Best Place to Work in Texas” in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Kristi was honored by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce as a “Women in the Fast Lane” for STEAM, in 2019 Houston Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” Outstanding Leader in Finance award, and in 2016 the University of Houston – Clear Lake Early Achievement Award, presented by the UHCL Alumni Association. In 2018, Kristi was a nominee for the League City Chamber of Commerce "Athena" award, and she was a 2013 Change Magazine "Women Creating Change" Honoree.

Partner with an international accounting firm, a licensed CPA firm, and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. John has over 30 years of experience in Public Accounting serving both Private and Public companies. Earned a BBA in Accounting at Texas State University. He has lived in the Houston area for over 45 years.

Ignatius Leonards



CEO and Chairman of NovoLink Communications, Inc. Prior to NovoLink, Mr. Leonards served as President and Vice Chairman of CapRock Communications. He was responsible for growing the company from a Dallas based resale service provider to a regional facilities based CLEC serving five states. Mr. Leonards founded IWL Communications in 1981, a company specializing in building turnkey telecommunication facilities for the oil and gas industry with companies operating in remote regions of the world. He served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer from 1981 until 1998 and took the company public in 1997 (NASD: IWLC). In 1999, he merged IWL Communications Inc. with CapRock Communications Inc. (NASD: CPRK), and helped build the company to $1 billion market capitalization prior to being sold to McLeod Communications in 2001. Prior to IWL Communications, he managed the Houston division of Bibbins & Rice Electronics, a regional telecommunications service company. He earned an Industrial Electronics and Telecommunications degree from T.H. Harris Technical College in Opelousas, LA.




Senior Chairman of Stewart Title Guaranty Company and President of Stewart Security Capital. Mr. Morris previously served as President of Stewart Title and President and Co-CEO of Stewart Information Services. He also previously served on the Board of Directors of Southern National Bank. He is a graduate of Rice University and holds an MBA from the University of Texas. Mr. Morris is currently a deacon of the Second Baptist Church and Chairman of the Oldham Little Church Foundation.
